Automotive electronic constant temperature and humidity test chamber

There are many kinds of automotive electronics, such as car map navigator, car satellite navigation, car vacuum cleaner, car player, etc. These can be tested with a constant temperature and humidity test chamber to confirm whether the quality of the product meets the standard.

 

National standards commonly used in automotive electronics are: map navigator GB/T35766-2017, car satellite navigation GB/T19392-2013, car vacuum cleaner CAB1021-2013, car player QC/T949-2013, these products are used in constant temperature and humidity test When the box is tested, the test needs to be done in accordance with the relevant test requirements in the standard.

 

For example, in our commonly used car map navigator, the temperature and humidity specified in GB/T35766-2017 can be used in the constant temperature and humidity test chamber to do the following tests:

 

A. High temperature and low temperature work test: The product under test is put into a constant temperature and humidity test chamber at room temperature, and the signal is connected according to the normal working mode, and the chamber starts to work normally.

 

 1. High-temperature work: Set the test chamber temperature to 70°C (vehicle type)/55°C (portable), and the tested product is connected to the power supply for 1 hour, and the power is turned off for 1 hour. The continuous power-on and power-off cycle mode is tested for 72 hours. After the test, test according to related items.

 

2. Low temperature work: set the temperature of the test chamber to -10°C (car-mounted/portable), the tested product is connected to the power supply for 1 hour, and the power is turned off for 1 hour. The continuous power-on and power-off cycle mode is tested for 72 hours. After the test, test according to related items.

 

B. High and low temperature storage test: The product under test is placed in a  constant temperature and humidity test chamber at room temperature, and the product does not work.

 

1. High-temperature storage: Adjust the temperature of the test chamber to 85°C (vehicle type)/70°C (portable). After the temperature of the test chamber stabilizes, place the device under test for 48 hours. After the test, the tested product is returned to room temperature, and the test is performed according to the relevant items in the table.

 

2. Low-temperature storage: Adjust the temperature of the test chamber to -30°C (vehicle type)/-20°C (portable). After the temperature of the test chamber stabilizes, place the device under test for 48 hours. After the test, the tested product is returned to room temperature, and the test is performed according to the relevant items in the table.

 

C. Humidity and heat test: The product can withstand a constant humidity and heat test with a temperature of 40°C, a relative humidity of 93%, and a test cycle of 48 hours. After the test is completed, the initial test and final test items of the tested sample are carried out according to the relevant items in the table.
