What is a horizontal peel tensile tester?
1. Working Principle
Horizontal tensile testing machine is a device used to test the tensile properties of materials in the horizontal direction. It usually consists of a sturdy base and a movable tensile fixture. The material sample is clamped between the tensile fixtures and the material is stretched by applying force. The testing machine can measure the tensile strength, breaking strength, elongation and other parameters of the material.

2. Product Features
(1) Fully automatic control: The high-performance speed regulation system enables the testing machine to achieve full digital and automatic control;
(2) Software system: It adopts a fully digital LCD controller to achieve human-computer dialogue, simple operation, and accurate data;
(3) Automatic storage: Through the controller, the maximum test force, tensile strength, elongation and other parameters are automatically obtained, and the test results are automatically stored;
(4) Curve comparison: Various characteristic curves such as force-elongation and elongation-time of material tests can be drawn, and any section can be partially enlarged and analyzed;
(5) Safety protection: The test machine automatically shuts down when the sample is broken, overloaded, or overcurrent occurs;
(6) Multiple functions: It can perform various tests such as stretching, compression, bending, shearing, tearing, peeling, etc. on non-metals and components at room temperature or high and low temperature environments, and can compile and print test reports in the format required by users.
3. Operation steps
(1) Sample preparation: According to the standard requirements, cut samples of the required length from the steel wire to be tested, and clean the surface to ensure accurate test results.
(2) Install the sample: Put the sample into the clamp of the tensile tester, adjust the clamp distance according to the test requirements, and ensure that the sample is fastened by the clamp.
(3) Set test parameters: Set the test parameters such as the stretching speed, preload value, breakpoint trigger value, test time, etc. of the test machine to meet the selected standards or test requirements.
(4) Start the test: Start the test machine, start stretching the sample, observe the elongation changes of the sample through the display screen, and record the tension and elongation data during the stretching process.
(5) End of the test: When the sample reaches the breakpoint or the test reaches the set time, the test machine automatically stops stretching and records the test data such as the maximum tension and elongation data.
(6) Data processing: According to the test standards or test requirements, process the test data, such as calculating the test results such as tension, elongation curve, maximum tension, yield strength, and elongation at break.
(7) Report writing: According to the test results, write a test report and indicate the standards, test methods, test parameters, etc. used in the test.
