1. Scope of application

The purifier environmental test chamber is mainly suitable for promoting air purifiers with odor removal function

2. Operation steps

2.1 Put the prototype in a 30m3 test chamber, adjust the purifier to the rated state of the test, check that it runs normally, and then turn off the purifier.

2.2 The stirring fan in the test chamber should always be turned on.

2.3 Turn on the high-efficiency air filter to purify the air in the test room, so that the background concentration of particles with a particle of 0.3μm or more is less than 1000/L, and the temperature and humidity control device is activated to make the indoor temperature and relative humidity reach the specified state.

2.4 Pass 10 cigarette pollutants into the test chamber. After the concentration is stable, extract a certain amount of gas from the test chamber through the Jumbo injection needle, inject it into the prepared clean air bag, and put the air bag into the sniffing chamber , The sniffer shall sniff according to the method specified in Appendix F of QB/T 5365-2019 and record it as the initial odor intensity.

2.5 Turn on the purifier deodorization program(or the program specified by the manufacturer). After the prototype runs for 1h, close the program.

2.6 After closing the purifier, take a certain amount of gas from the test chamber through the sampling needle, inject it into the prepared clean air bag, and put the air bag into the sniffing room. The sniffer shall follow the regulations of QB/T 5365-2019 Appendix F The method of sniffing is recorded as the end odor intensity.

2.7 Record the test results. The difference in odor intensity = initial odor intensity average-end odor intensity average.

Note 1: Poor odor intensity represents the ability of the prototype to remove odor. The greater the difference in odor intensity, the stronger the ability of the purifier to remove odors.

Note 2: If the average value of the odor intensity difference is 1, the prototype is considered to have no odor removal capability.
