voc release test box can detect the amount of voc release in electronic and electrical products. Using voc release test box for testing can be divided into four steps: pre-operation, adsorption, sampling and calculation.

I. Equipment sample preparation:

Ii. Test process:
1. Pre-operation: The equipment under test should be energized and maintain 1-4 times of air exchange at this stage.
2. Adsorption: Tenax TA should be used for treatment and analysis to minimize the release of the target test substance (especially benzene) in the artificial product. 2, 4-dinitrophenylhydrazine (DNPH) can be used as adsorbent for aldehydes and ketones.
3. Sampling:
a. In the pre-run phase, (100~200) ml/min. The sampling time starts from 20 minutes before the end of the pre-run phase to 1 hour after the end of the pre-run.
b. In the running stage, set the sampling flow as (100~200)ml/min in the later running stage, and the sampling time lasts for 1 air exchange.
4. Calculation: According to the actual situation, the calculation formula required in SJ/T 11610-2016 is adopted for calculation.
