The UL 1642 standard includes requirements for lithium battery testing, such as electrical performance testing, mechanical testing, and environmental testing of lithium batteries. 1. Heating test:

The samples were heated in a natural convection or forced convection oven with an initial temperature of 20±5℃.

The oven temperature was raised to 130±2℃ at a rate of 5±2℃/min and kept for 10min.

The sample shall return to room temperature and the test shall be terminated.

2. Temperature cycle test:

a) Raise the temperature to 70±3℃ within 30min, and keep the temperature for 4h.

c) Cool down to -40±3℃ within 30min and keep warm for 4h.

d) Raise the temperature to 20±3℃ within 30min.

e) Repeat the above cycle 9 more times.

f) After 10 cycles, the battery is placed at room temperature of 20±5℃ for 7 days for inspection.

The sample should not ignite, explode, leak or leak.
